Yen Phong II Industrial Park was approved to be added to the planning of industrial parks in Vietnam until 2020 according to Decision 1107/QD-TTg dated August 21, 2006 of the Prime Minister with an expected planning area of 300 hectares.
On June 28, 2007, the Prime Minister agreed to approve the policy of building Yen Phong II Industrial, Urban and Service Park with a total area of 1,200 hectares according to Official Dispatch No. 856/TTg-CN. In which, the area of Yen Phong II Industrial Park was adjusted to increase from 300 hectares to 1,000 hectares. Yen Phong II Industrial Park includes 03 sub-areas A, B and C.
Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park
– Location and scale: located on the west side of National Highway 3 and has an area of 151.27 hectares, located in Tam Giang and Hoa Tien communes, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province. Of which, the industrial land area is 83.19 hectares.
– Approved by the Prime Minister on investment policy on February 19, 2021, according to Decision No. 220/QD-TTg
– Approved construction zoning plan at scale 1/2000 according to Decision No. 430/QD-UBND dated November 11, 2021 of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee
– Investor: Western Pacific Infrastructure Joint Stock Company, total investment capital of the project is over 1,800 billion VND.

Yen Phong II-B Industrial Park (VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park)
– Location and scale: Yen Phong II-B Industrial Park (or VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park) has a planned area of 273.0022 hectares, located in the communes of Tam Giang, Yen Phu, Hoa Tien and Cho Town, Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh Province. Of which, the industrial land area is 188.7 hectares.

– Established by the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province under Decision No. 848/QD-UBND dated December 13, 2019

- CURRENT STATUS OF INVESTMENT IN YEN PHONG II INDUSTRIAL PARK
Currently, of the 3 sub-zones, only Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park has completed construction and put into operation, achieving good investment attraction and occupancy rate. Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park and VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park (Yen Phong II-B) are being urgently implemented by investors in compensation, site clearance, investment procedures and construction of basic infrastructure items. It is expected that these two industrial parks will start operating from 2023.
