VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park (or Yen Phong II-B Industrial Park) was formerly Yen Phong II Industrial Park – Phase 1, invested by Song Da Construction Joint Stock Company (SICO) according to Investment Registration Certificate No. 21221.000202 issued by Bac Ninh Industrial Parks Management Board on December 30, 2008.
After being licensed, the Project was mortgaged by SICO to borrow capital from Viettinbank, but due to business losses and the inability to continue implementing the project, SICO was terminated and the project was revoked by the Bac Ninh Provincial Industrial Park Management Board according to Decision No. 17/QD-BQL dated April 24, 2017. At the same time, the Bac Ninh Provincial Industrial Park Management Board also introduced the planned location of Yen Phong II Industrial Park Phase 1 to VSIP Bac Ninh Company Limited to continue implementation, but there was a dispute due to the project mortgage of the former investor SICO.
After the relevant legal issues were clarified, on January 15, 2019, Yen Phong II-B Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy under Decision No. 66/QD-UBND and established by Bac Ninh province under Decision No. 848/QD-UBND dated December 13, 2019, and approved the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan under Decision No. 605/QD-UBND dated September 27, 2019 of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province.
VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park has the infrastructure investor being VSIP Bac Ninh Company Limited with a total investment capital of more than 2,358 billion VND, invested in construction on a planned land area of 282.67 hectares, of which the industrial park land area is 273.022 hectares, the industrial land area for lease is 188.87 hectares (accounting for 60%).
In terms of nature, VSIP II industrial park is a concentrated, environmentally friendly industrial park with a synchronous, modern infrastructure system.
Regarding the regional connection location, VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park is planned to be located in the administrative boundaries of Hoa Tien commune, Tam Giang commune and Cho town, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province. The North and East borders the residential area, the West borders the Hanoi – Thai Nguyen expressway (National Highway 3), the South borders National Highway 18, so the Industrial Park has a convenient traffic connection location:

- VSIP II INDUSTRIAL PARK INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM
Power supply system: The production power source of VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park is supplied from the 110/35/22KV Yen Phong 2 transformer station with a capacity of 63 MVA. The 22 KV lines are connected in branches, along the traffic routes in the industrial park to each plot of land.
Water supply system: VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park has built a clean water treatment and supply plant with a capacity of 9,500 m3/day and night from the surface water source of Cau River.
Wastewater treatment system: Wastewater produced in VSIP 2 Bac Ninh Industrial Park is treated by a centralized wastewater treatment system within the area with a design capacity of 6,700 m3/day and night, capable of treating output wastewater to meet column A standards according to Vietnam’s environmental technical standards.
Internal traffic system: The internal traffic of VSIP Bac Ninh 2 Industrial Park is designed in a chessboard shape. The main axis has a cross-section width of 77 m, in which the road width on each side is 10.5 m, in the middle is a 34 m wide landscape ditch, on both sides are green corridors. Branch roads have a cross-section width of 22.5 m – 55 m with sidewalks and trees on both sides, creating a cool green space but still ensuring convenient traffic.
Communication system: The communication system of VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park is located in technical trenches and technical cable ducts with the capacity to provide over 10,000 contact subscriber numbers.
In addition, VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park is also built by the investor with a modern and synchronous landscape infrastructure system, regulating lake, rainwater drainage system, and fire protection system, to best serve the needs of investors in the industrial park.
III. CURRENT STATUS OF INVESTMENT IN VSIP BAC NINH INDUSTRIAL PARK II
Currently, VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park is undergoing compensation, site clearance and infrastructure construction. The industrial park is being urgently deployed with the goal of officially coming into operation from the fourth quarter of 2023. It is expected to provide additional industrial land with quality infrastructure for Bac Ninh province in particular and the North in general.
