Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister to be added to the planning for the development of industrial parks in Bac Giang province in Official Dispatch No. 216/TTg-CN dated February 23, 2021 with an expected planning area of about 300 hectares, located in Yen Son commune and Bac Lung commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.
On July 16, 2021, the Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park was approved by the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province for the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan in Decision No. 712/QD-UBND with a planning area of 309.16 hectares, of which the planned land area of the industrial park is 300 hectares and 9.16 hectares is the construction area of the road from provincial road TL293 to the industrial park. The total area of industrial land (factory construction and logistics land) for lease is 202.36 hectares (accounting for 67.45% of the planning area). According to the industrial development plan of Bac Giang province until 2030 approved in Decision No. 219/QD-UBND dated February 17, 2022 of the Prime Minister, Yen Son Bac Lung Industrial – Urban – Service Park is expected to be expanded by 190 hectares, bringing the total planning area of the park to 490 hectares.
On September 9, 2023, the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province approved the detailed construction planning project at a scale of 1/500 of Yen Son Bac Lung Industrial Park (expansion) in Decision No. 1117/QD-UBND with a planning area of 184.38 hectares (of which the industrial land area for lease is 124.18 hectares, accounting for 67.36%). The expansion of Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park is oriented to become a high-tech, multi-industry industrial park with an area to attract investment from small and medium-sized enterprises and innovative enterprises in the fields of machinery, industrial equipment, and metallurgy.
In terms of nature, Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park is a multi-industry industrial park, mainly in the manufacturing industry, manufacturing electronic equipment, refrigeration, mechanics, high-tech machinery and equipment and producing environmentally friendly consumer goods (excluding projects in the textile, leather and footwear industries…)

- INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM OF YEN SON INDUSTRIAL PARK – BAC LUNG
Power supply system: The power source for production in Yen Son – Bac Lung industrial park is currently taken from the temporary 110kV Luc Nam transformer. In the future, the power supply will be replaced by the temporary 110kV Bac Lung power source with a capacity of 2×63 MVA and can be supplemented by the 110kV Bac Lung 2 transformer station with a capacity of 2×63 MVA and the 110kV Yen Son transformer station with a capacity of 2×63 MVA. In addition, according to the plan, the industrial park is expected to be supplemented with power from the development of rooftop solar power with an expected capacity of about 37 MVA. Thus, the power supply for the industrial park can be completely guaranteed even in the event of high demand for electricity.
Water supply system: Yen Son Industrial Park is planned to build a clean water treatment and supply plant to serve the project and the expansion phase with a two-phase design capacity of 24,600 m3/day and night to serve production, daily life and fire fighting activities.
Wastewater treatment system: All wastewater in Yen Son Bac Lung Industrial Park is locally treated at the factory before being treated at the centralized wastewater treatment plant of the Industrial Park to type A before being discharged into the environment . The capacity of the wastewater treatment plant of the industrial park and the expansion area is 10,000 m3/day and night and 5,600 m3/day and night respectively.
Internal and external traffic system: Regarding external connections, Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park has connecting routes to TL293 in the Northeast – Southwest direction and connecting to Ring Road 5 in the Southwest – Northeast direction, and it is planned to build a railway overpass to connect to National Highway 37. Regarding the internal area, the main axis of the Industrial Park is 51 m wide, in which the roadway width is from 20m – 30m; branch roads in the Industrial Park are from 24m – 27m wide, in which the roadway width is 15m with green roofs and sidewalks on both sides.
Other infrastructure facilities: Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park is built with a rainwater drainage system independent of the wastewater drainage system; The leveling height of the Industrial Park is from +5.2m to +5.56m; The Industrial Park is built with a parking lot with an area of 7.76 hectares along with a green landscape system, lighting system, communication system, fire prevention and fighting system along the traffic routes in the Industrial Park.
