Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister to be added to the planning of Vietnam’s industrial parks in Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg dated August 21, 2006 with an expected planning area of 150 hectares.

Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park was established in 2007, including two sub-zones:

Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park (Northern area)

– Area: 105.0563 ha, of which industrial land for lease is 78.5059 ha (accounting for 74.73%)

– Investor: Bac Giang Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company

– Approved detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/2000 in Decision 1892/QD-UBND dated November 25, 2014 and adjusted detailed planning in Official Dispatches No. 3554/UBND-CN dated December 14, 2015; Decision No. 1032/QD-UBND; Decision 635/QD-UBND dated August 30, 2019…. and most recently in Decision No. 1019/QD-UBND dated December 27, 2019 of the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province.

– Focus on attracting investment in the following industries: Production of electronic components, motors, generators, electric transformers…; Machine tools, metal forming; Production of ovens, furnaces; Production of other specialized machinery; Food processing…

Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park (Southern area)

– Area: 44.9059 ha, of which industrial land for lease is 32.7918 ha (accounting for 73.02% of the planning area)

– Investor: FUJI Bac Giang Development Joint Stock Company

– Approved detailed planning in Decision No. 1573/QD-UBND dated September 26, 2007 with the initial planning area of 89.4 hectares, then adjusted down 23 hectares, converted to residential land in Official Dispatch No. 2651/UBND-CN dated September 18, 2015. After that, the Industrial Park was adjusted to a detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/2000 in Decisions No. 1754/QD-UBND dated October 31, 2016 and Decision No. 18/QD-KCN dated March 30, 2017 of the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province.

According to the planning of Bac Giang province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister, Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park is expected to merge with the area of Noi Hoang Industrial Cluster to increase the total area of the industrial park to 221 hectares, helping to synchronize the planning of industrial infrastructure in Bac Giang province.

In terms of nature, Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park is a multi-industry industrial park, focusing on manufacturing industries such as mechanical assembly, processing industry, consumer goods manufacturing industry, construction materials, spare parts manufacturing for the shipbuilding industry and some other industries.

Regarding regional connectivity, Song Khe Noi Hoang Industrial Park is adjacent to National Highway 1A and DT284, and at the same time:

– 8 km from Bac Giang city; 18 km from Bac Ninh city

– 55 km from Hanoi city center

– 51 km from Noi Bai International Airport

– 149 km from Hai Phong Port

– Located near other large industrial parks such as Quang Chau, Van Trung, Dinh Tram

1. INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM OF SONG KHE NOI HOANG INDUSTRIAL PARK

Power supply system: Power supply for production in Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park is taken from the 110kV/35kV Song Khe transformer station, connected by a branch network combined with a radial network to supply power to each plot of land in the industrial park.

Water supply system: clean water for production at Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park is taken from Bac Giang clean water plant with a capacity of 35,000 m3/day and night from pipeline D200 on National Highway 17, underground to the boundary of each plot of land in the industrial park.

Wastewater treatment system: The centralized wastewater treatment system of the Northern area has a treatment capacity of 10,000 m3/day and night; the wastewater treatment system of the Southern area has a treatment capacity of 1,200 m3/day and night. All wastewater in the Industrial Park is locally treated at the factory before being collected and treated by the centralized wastewater treatment system of the Industrial Park to type A before being discharged into the environment.

Internal information system: Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park is located close to the intersection between National Highway 1A and DT284 (going through the Industrial Park). Therefore, the internal traffic system of the industrial park can easily connect with both DT284 and National Highway 1A. The internal roads of the Industrial Park have a cross-section width of 14m-16.5m-21m-22m-27m, in which the road width is from 7m-15m.

Other infrastructure facilities: Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park also has completed infrastructure items by the investor such as: Green area, static parking lot, rainwater drainage system independent from wastewater drainage system, solid waste collection system, leveling height +3.2m to +4.9m, Lighting system with distance from 30m-35m per column.

III. CURRENT STATUS OF INVESTMENT ATTRACTION IN SONG KHE – NOI HOANG INDUSTRIAL PARK

Currently, the entire area of Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park has been completed by the two investors in building infrastructure and leasing more than 100% of the land area of the entire industrial park with typical projects such as: Plastic products manufacturing project of SHINSUNG Vina Co., Ltd.; Iron, steel and cast iron manufacturing project of SEOJIN Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Electronic components manufacturing project of Myungbo Vina Co., Ltd.; Mobile phone body manufacturing project of SUN YOUNG Vina Co., Ltd. and a series of other projects of Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese investors.
